About me

Born in Geneva and driven by a passion for cinema. Ali Pope graduated from the Haute École d’Arts Appliqués (HEAD) in Geneva, where he was awarded Best Student Film for his graduating work. He began his career collaborating with Sony Music and Hypebeast, directing music videos for renowned rappers in the Geneva scene while moving between Geneva and Paris. After relocating to Montreal, Ali turned toward the corporate side of the industry, immersing himself in a different approach to production and sharpening his understanding of how ambitious ideas move from concept to execution at scale. Two years ago, he stepped out on his own, choosing to work independently with clients across a range of industries and creative needs. Today, Ali works as a director, editor, and colorist, folding directing, editing, color grading, and post-production into a single, seamless process. He has directed projects for international brands and creatives, shaping each story from concept to final cut with clarity and cohesion. His multidisciplinary approach ensures every project reflects a unified vision — and his strong grasp of production means he knows how to translate ambitious ideas into work that is both cinematic and achievable. When needed, he steps directly into production to protect the integrity of a concept and see it through with precision. Hands-on and practical, Ali builds work that stays grounded in reality without ever compromising the vision behind it.
