Malo

Malo has been handcrafting wedding bands in Montreal since 1983, now three generations deep into a family tradition built on precision, comfort-fit design, and old-world technique. It's a rare thing in an industry that's mostly gone to mass production: rings still made by hand, in-house, by people who've spent their careers on this one craft. I've always felt a pull toward building from scratch, toward the artisanal. I was given the chance to document Malo in their Montreal facility, where ring making is still done by hand, by people who care about the craft. No polish added, just the process itself, honest and unhurried.
